Patient Medication Information: uses, side effects, how to take - Jamp Fosfomycin
What is JAMP Fosfomycin used for?
JAMP Fosfomycin is an antibiotic medicine used in adult women to treat urinary tract (bladder) infections.
Antibacterial drugs like JAMP Fosfomycin treat only bacterial infections. They do not treat viral infections. JAMP Fosfomycin should be used exactly as directed. Misuse or overuse of JAMP Fosfomycin could lead to the growth of bacteria that will not be killed by JAMP Fosfomycin (resistance). This means that JAMP Fosfomycin may not work for you in the future. Do not share your medicine.
How does JAMP Fosfomycin work?
JAMP Fosfomycin is an antibiotic that kills the bacteria causing the infection. JAMP Fosfomycin starts working to kill bacteria within hours after taking it. The bladder irritation caused by the bacteria and the symptoms that you may be feeling can last for a short time even after the bacteria have been killed.
What are the ingredients in JAMP Fosfomycin?
